MAJIK Wine was founded by our family in 2021. Its story, however, started over ten years ago, when Andrew, an Englishman with a passion for making good food and drinking good wine, married Keri, a South African with a passion for eating and drinking whatever he put in front of her. It was inevitable that their lives would revolve around wining and dining. Having owned and managed two restaurants, a guesthouse and a wedding venue between them in South Africa, when the time came to make a move over to England, they simply had to bring over a piece of South African hospitality with them. And that piece was South African wines. Their flagship label was always going to be wines from Anura Vineyard, a farm very special to the couple as Anura had taken their family under their wing when they first moved to the Cape from KZN in 2015. Having spent many a Sunday lunch at the Bouma family's home on Anura wine estate, indulging (and falling in love) with their delicious MCC and wines, it was agreed that when the family made their move over to the United Kingdom, they would bring the Anura label with them. Once the company, Majik Wine, was formed in partnership with Andrew's parents, Michael and Jennifer Smith, a further exclusive label, Balance Wines, was also added to Majik's wine portofolio.

As the company grows, we hope to add more South African labels to that list, becoming an exclusive supplier of South African wines that you cannot find anywhere else in the United Kingdom. With every bottle of wine you buy from Majik Wine, you are supporting the beautiful and vibrant people of South Africa and their economy, which was so hard hit by the global pandemic.
